1 There are some powerfully negative images today. "A man with a scourge in his right hand is driving two slaves in manacles." Some of the provisions in the Big Ugly Bill are cruel, taking away medical and nutritional benefits from the most needy. Some politicians seem to have become despotic tyrants without realizing it.
2 Where is the following happening? "A dagger lying beside a skull" denotes "one inclined to cruelty and oppression. If he does not hold his passions in check some fatality will come upon him. He is melancholy, taciturn and capable of keen feelings; then looks back with secret self-condemnation on his unfruitful or tragic work." This is a definite warning to all to whom it might apply.
3 It might be time, rather, to emulate "a hedgehog" of harmless disposition, secretive and shunning the public gaze. Thereby we may defend ourselves.
4 "A man making a futurist drawing" could be you or me, or Elon or Donald. Let me try. We entered a two month Dark or Slow Hermetic Epoch on Monday June 30th, lasting until August 25th. It is not bad, but interesting. At worst, people get spooked by wildly hopeful or darkly worrisome fantasies or assumptions. Be prepared for UFO lore oozing out of the cracks on Twitter and elsewhere. As for politics, be assured that everyone on the right and left is wrong while everyone is also right. It's right down Alice's rabbit hole until the last week of August. Enjoy playing chess with the Red Queen, choose the best side of the mushroom, and keep your head.
